Nathalia District Hospital – Registered Nurse (Gr 2)

Permanent part time position- 0.3 EFT 24 hrs per fortnight

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team at Nathalia District Hospital.

Based in Rural Victoria, our 26 bed facility consists of a 20 bed residential aged care unit, a 6 bed medical acute care unit and an unfunded urgent care centre. The hospital offers a friendly, caring environment with a well supported education program and a hospital wide focus on quality care.

The applicant would be expected to work a flexible roster inclusive of all rostered hours and have the ability to work up as a Grade 3 Registered Nurse when required

The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment and be committed to the delivery of high quality patient focussed care. Acute and aged care experience in a rural setting is desired but not essential, along with knowledge of ACFI, basic knowledge of patient information systems and computer literacy at intermediate level for I.T. applications.

Applicants are required to have current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and minimum 1 year experience post graduation.  Applicants will also need to provide a current Police record check.
