Sue Logie:


Ms Logie has been a Nathalia District Hospital Board Member since 2004 and has served as Junior Vice President, Vice President and is currently the President
She participates in the following committes:

  • Audit Committee
  • Medical Credentialling Committee
  • Board Appointment Committee
  • Patient Care Review Committee

Sue has been actively involved in numerous community groups over the past thirty years and brings her skills and experience to the board. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Comapny Directors board course - November 2014.

She initiated the first Women's Health Clinic in the early nineties and was a founding member of the Nathalia Women's Health Group. Sue is committed to working to improve the health and well being of the community

David Vaughan


David has been a Nathalia District Hospital Board Member, first appointed to the Board in 2000. His current appointment expires on 30 June 2017.

David's skills he bring to the Board include:

  • Financial Management; running own agricultural services business for many years. Also runs a farm in the local area.
  • Human Resource; local employer and aware of the need for succession planning.
  • Quality improvement and consumer knowledge
  • Lived in the local community for 27 years

David's accomplishments include having married a great wife and raised a family with her, being a very active community volunteer and having run a successful business within the local community for many years. His hobbies include cycling, tennis and bee keeping

Kerry-Anne Rappell



Kerry-anne has been a member of Nathalia District Hospital Board since 2013 and currently holds the position of Chair of Patient Review Committee, the clinical governance committee of the board.

Kerry-anne is a Senior Constable of Victoria Police, and brings with her effective communication and listening skills and a sound knowledge of community needs to enhance her role as Board member. She is involved in anumber of community groups including Nathalia CWA and Picola Football Club. Her interests are netball, craft and reading.

Kerry-anne states the best thing she has done for my family was moving to and settling in Nathalia. She took pride in winning "Best jam in show" at Nathalia Show a few years ago.

David McKenzie


David has been a member of Nathalia District Hospital Board since 2007 and currently holds the position of Deputy Chair.

David's skills that he brings to the Board include:

  • Completed Company Directors course 2010.
  • Financial Management; managed family farm for 30 plus years.
  • Moira Shire councillor for 10 years.
  • Served on Audit Committee of Moira Shire, Resource GV and Moira Healthcare Alliance
  • Chair of Picola and District Football.Netball League for 30 years.

Davids acheivements include

  • Australian Sports Medal
  • Australian Centenary Medal
  • 50 years service medal; Country Fire Brigade
  • Recognition of service medal; Victorian Country Football League
  • Life member of Picola and District Fire Brigade, Picola and District Football/Netball League, Picola United Football Club, Picola Cricket Club and Picola Tennis Club.
  • Chair of Roadsafe GV Since 2013

In his leisure time David enjoys fishing.

Diana Baxter


Diana has recently joined Nathalia District Hospital Board, being appointed in July 2015.

Diana has a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and worked for 10 years in the recreation, Health and Community programming for local Government. She is now a mother of young children working on a family farming enterprise near Picola.

Diana has implemented many succesful and ongoing community health programs during role as Programs Coordinator for Greater Shepparton City Council. In a past life - ran a half marathon and completed the Oxfam 100km walk.

Diana's interests include travel, gardening and volunteering.


Chris McCallum


Chris has been a member of Nathalia District Hospital Board since 2014.

Chris is currently a school principal and many of the skills required for this profession transfer into those required on the board.

Chris has many years in leadership positions in education and in sporting organisations across the Goulburn Valley.

Chris's interests include sports and travel.


Peter Limbrick


Peter joined the Board of Management at Nathalia District Hospital in May 2016. He brings with him 29 years of experience as a public practice accountant ( CPA Australia )practicing in the Murray and Goulburn Valley areas. He has an extensive knowledge/understanding of financial reporting and requirements, budgeting and auditing which will enhance his role the Hospital board.

He has taken up the role of Chair of the Audit Committee as of July 2016.

Peter has served on many committees over time:

  • Murray Football League Executive for 5 year
  • President and treasurer of the Nathalia Lawn tennis club
  • President Nathalia Football club winning 2 senior premierships in 2007 & 2008, having member of club for over 40 years
  • Life Member and member 200 club Murray football league (playing over 200 senior games)

Peter lists his best achievements as father of 2 wonderful children & 3 fantastic grand children (so far). In his spare time he enjoys sport of all kinds, especially golf, tennis, and football.

 

Maxene Hughes

Maxene began serving on the Nathalia District Hospital Board of Management in July 2016. She brings with her over 30 years of experience in the health industry as a nurse, providing knowledge and skills in the clinical care area.

She has worked in nurse education for over 10 years and believes she has been able to positively contribute to the nurses of the future.

Maxene's hobbies include art, design and a love of nature.

 

Peter Poon


Peter became a member on the Nathalia District Hospital Board in 2017. He brings over 42 years experience in the clinical governance of healthcare delivery.

He has for over 38 years been involved in providing medical service, health promotion and education to the Nathalia community and clinical supervision of medical students and GP registrars.

Peter's hobbies include IT, golf, epicure and travel
