Community Participation
We have a number of positions available on Quality Committees for community representatives, to assist us with the delivery of health care services which are client centered. If you are interested in being involved please contact our Director of Nursing.
Board of Management
In the middle of each year we advertise vacancies that occur in our Board of Management. These positions are appointed by the Minister for Health and give local people in our community from a diverse range of backgrounds and professions the opportunity to support our hospital with their time and expertise.
A list of our current Board of Management members is available on our website, and any one of them or our Chief Executive Officer would be happy to speak to you about applying for this rewarding voluntary role.
Donations and Bequests
When you make a donation or bequest to Nathalia District Hospital you are helping to purchase extra patient care equipment items to ensure our patients and residents receive the highest level of quality care and comfort available.
Each year the Nathalia Carnival Committee, the Lions Club of Nathalia and the Rotary Club of Nathalia raise funds to enable us to purchase medical equipment for patients. Many other groups such as the CWA and Nathalia Welfare give us additional support. Please note that donations are not used for general operational expenses.
All donations (over $2) are tax deductible and formal receipts are issued by the Fundraising Department. If you would like to help, please send your donation to Nathalia District Hospital , Elizabeth Street , Nathalia 3638.
