Deputy Chair - Diana BaxterDiana has been a member of the board since 2015.
She has a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and worked for 10 years in the recreation, Health and Community programming for local Government. She is now a mother of young children working on a family farming enterprise near Picola. Diana has implemented many succesful and ongoing community health programs during role as Programs Coordinator for Greater Shepparton City Council. In a past life - ran a half marathon and completed the Oxfam 100km walk. Her interests include travel, gardening and volunteering. |
Chris McCallumChris has been a member of Nathalia District Hospital Board since 2014.
He is currently a school principal and many of the skills required for this profession transfer into those required on the board. Chris has many years in leadership positions in education and in sporting organisations across the Goulburn Valley. His interests include sports and travel. |
Kerry-Anne RappellKerry-anne has been a member of Nathalia District Hospital Board since 2013
She is a Senior Constable of Victoria Police, and brings with her effective communication and listening skills and a sound knowledge of community needs to enhance her role as Board member. She is involved in anumber of community groups including Nathalia CWA and Picola Football Club. Her interests are netball, craft and reading. Kerry-anne states the best thing she has done for my family was moving to and settling in Nathalia. She took pride in winning "Best jam in show" at Nathalia Show a few years ago. |
Peter LimbrickPeter joined the Board of Management at Nathalia District Hospital in May 2016. He brings with him 29 years of experience as a public practice accountant ( CPA Australia )practicing in the Murray and Goulburn Valley areas. He has an extensive knowledge/understanding of financial reporting and requirements, budgeting and auditing which will enhance his role the Hospital board.

Peter PoonPeter became a member on the Nathalia District Hospital Board in 2017. He brings over 42 years experience in the clinical governance of healthcare delivery.
He has for over 38 years been involved in providing medical service, health promotion and education to the Nathalia community and clinical supervision of medical students and GP registrars. Peter's hobbies include IT, golf, epicure and travel |
Maxene HughesMaxene began serving on the Nathalia District Hospital Board of Management in July 2016. She brings with her over 30 years of experience in the health industry as a nurse, providing knowledge and skills in the clinical care area.
She has worked in nurse education for over 10 years and believes she has been able to positively contribute to the nurses of the future. Maxene's hobbies include art, design and a love of nature. |
Mewan Dissan
Mewan joined the Board of Management of Nathalia District Hospital in July-2018. He started his career in 2000 at one of the big four accounting firms and since then held various managerial positions in both private and public sector organisations including Banks and Insurance Companies.
He currently works as the Finance Manager of a Not for profit organisation and also serves as a Board Member of Goulburn Region Pre School Association. He also serves as the Assistant Secretary of Sri Lankan Association of Goulburn Valley. Mewan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Fellow Member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of UK (FCMA). Mewan earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) degree specialised in financial management from faculty of management and finance of University of Colombo. Also holds a MBA from University of Southern Queensland. Mewan has a passion for serving Goulburn region community and a graduate of Fairley Leadership Program organised by Goulburn Murray Community Leadership. |
